Very much agreed, across the board.

The internet has and will be a truly huge game changer. Never before in Earth history has there been something that can connect virtually everyone on the planet, while also making past repository efforts like the Library of Alexandria look smaller than a microbe.

The death of Aaron Swartz, whether of nefarious causes or not, leaves a large void in the InterTubes. :(

aaronsw.com The prosecutor Carmen Ortiz should reflect on her own life and do the decent thing. Aaron Swartz was obviously a very decent person.

Kim Dotcom in NZ is being attacked by the USA and NZ governments on a similar basis. The NZ and USA governments have actually broken their own laws and trampled all over common decency.

The boundary between freedom in Cyberspace and the age-old totalitarian dominance hierarchy kleptocratic temporal territorial tribes is growing more defined and the battle is hardening.

You are with us or against us.

Tout ou rien.
Nobeless oblige,
Mqurice
