I believe it's already illegal in every state for ex-cons to own guns. I think everyone who's been committed on grounds of being a potential danger to themselves or others should be similarly barred. I'd be in favor of a register or database of people who are not eligible for these reasons to own guns. Register the problems, not every citizen who exercises his rights. The left is targeting ordinary gun owners, the NRA, etc and I believe that's deliberate.

Just wait until libtards and ACLU figure out what strengthening the mental health checks means regarding gun control.

It means everyone's mental status must be reported to the FBI for NICS in case you try to buy a gun someday.
