Shotguns, revolvers (.32, .38. .38-special, .380 magnum, .45), pump-action .22 rifles, lever-action hunting rifles, semiautomatic pistols with up to 8-shot clips, carbines with 8-shot clips. That doesn't exhaust the possibilities.

All these are more than enough for self-defense against criminal attack or intrusion.

In general, "assault-rifle" refers to a high-velocity (2800 fps and higher muzzle velocity) semiautomatic weapon with characteristics identical to those issued to the military and clips with more than 10 shots.

These are intended for killing and mutilating as many enemy soldiers as possible as quickly as possible.

If this is not satisfactory to you, GFY you stupid jerk.

Sorry -- somebody beat me to it. siliconinvestor.com

How about you -- what do you think the 2nd ammendment refers to? Any weapon? How about biological weapons and C4 -- or rocket propelled grenades? Nothing says leave me alone like a rocket propelled grenade or a little package with enough C4 to remove your neighbor's house from the map. I would personally find it very reassuring if all of the psychos in America had bigger and better weaponry -- nothing says "I feel safe" like knowing that the guy across the street has an rpg lying around the house to target the next person who wanders into one of their psychotic episodes on a fine Saturday morning. While we are at it, perhaps each elementary school teacher should be issued a rocket propelled grenade and an assault rifle -- you can never be too sure when you will need to shoot your way out of the finger painting class. What am I saying -- each school needs more than that -- starting with surface to air missiles. You do keep those at home I assume -- remember 911? If only the people in that building were armed for a proper defense -- the people in the building could have defended themselves by shooting down the incoming plane. You should have one or two for your house. I would feel much safer on a plane knowing that all the people in the houses below me could target my plane -- of course I would want the plane to have defense systems as well so we could counterstrike -- can't let people fly defenseless. Perhaps a few cruise missiles strapped under each wing would send the right message to those trigger happy homeowners below. I would also like to have a military grade drone in my garage -- you know for self defense. Perhaps a few of those with hellfire missiles would let the "bad guys" know not to hassle me when I walk my dog.

Whatever the problem -- more weapons are the answer -- god bless the weapons lobby.
