What you don't have a sense of is long term history. What is happening now is an end game from decades of abuse. So most economists in this country don't believe it can happen here. They are wrong. Math happens everywhere and it's inescapable. Notice the inflection point below? 1971...End of the Bretton Woods agreement. The one thing you can count on with 100% certainty is the infallible human desire for free shit. If they can't tax their way to free shit, they'll print money to get it. This is how you get inflation curves like the below. I guarantee you this will not end well.
