"They don't want to be cops. They want to teach. Try to get that thru your sick head."

Neither of us can speak for all teachers tejek. However, I know teachers and other school personnel because I have had a great deal of personal and professional involvement with them. I have taught in teacher training programs in more than one university and beyond that, the facts are available and they contradict your statements.

Then provide me the facts, kumquat........with credible links. Show me where teachers want to carry as part of the their teaching duties.

As I said, the average line teaching staff is not suited to be a gun carrier, but there are plenty who are ... enough who are trust worthy, willing, and able to make a positive difference. That is simply a fact.

absolutely........and I believe the majority of schools would have a handful of people willing to take on the responsibility. I think several armed school personnel, known to police and each other but unknown to attackers, would be the best approach.
