Why worry about the March quarter at this point anyways. Earnings for December quarter are due out next Wed?

Google is the one everyone should be worried about right now at 22 times trailing EPS.

50 million iPhone 5 is a great start. The only reason it didn't do better is 4G is still a very new platform that carriers like Sprint don't even have in many key markets. A lot of people are still buying the iPhone 4S and probably the iPhone 4 which is becoming more competitive. If Apple did sell 50 million iPhone 5, that's a big base for this quarter. That still leaves a lot of room for other iPhone models to be sold. Plus, it wasn't a big replacement year for the 4S in 2012. That will begin happening by June.

The biggest opportunity for Apple in the near term is to raise their dividend to a higher payout ratio. I think they could afford at least another $1 billion a quarter in dividends. That would put the yield closer to 3% at current levels.
