No words from US Govt. apart from procedurally correct statement from US Attorney's office. Their actions tell you everything you need to know, though. Whatever degree of leverage they were applying to Schwartz, it was part of the continuum of persecution of whistle blowers, light shiners and those determined incapable of defending themselves.

While, at the same time, perpetrators of crimes orders of magnitude more harmful walk undisturbed.
