From what I understand and have seen,

A small puff does well. Going beyond that has the risk of aggravating the condition.

As a tea, it would probably do better.

Results are going to be strain dependent. Some strains would greatly outperform others. Some would be more likely to produce the aggravation. This is a situation where our scientists need to take a close look at strain.
