FMA,

Yesterday was the first day in awhile that we had over two million
shares traded. I thought it was time to go and it still will be.
Mutual funds will be doing their distributions real soon and cash
will come pouring into the market in two-three weeks to be re-invested. Going under 25 is a big negative, lets see where it closes though.

Regards,

GTE has been aggressively hitting some west coast markets with a new $40 for 400 minutes plan - 10 cents. Big advertizing - but check out the catches.

These promotions are a dime a dozen. Nextel has weathered many before and will weather many going forward.

DirectConnect at $40 per user for UNLIMITED use in an individual or group conferencing mode absolutely blows even this GTE promotion out of the water. But, keep in mind, Nextel is not about to stoop to these games. Their market is the business market - the single most lucrative in all.

They are going for the jugular and will not stop unit they ARE the standard digital wireless network for businesses across the country.

Good luck!
