As with much else, you are right on target there. Which is more than one can say for the NRA.

A great many years ago, I was immensely proud to earn and wear patches from the NRA attesting to my marksmanship.

Right now, I would just as soon put on KKK sheet. These people are psychopaths.

Murderers will still have guns no matter what stats say or what legislation is passed to try to control them.
Punishment is the only way to deal with violence..Criminals have no fear of the consequences of their actions.America dosen't have the balls to address it.
Violent crime should have swift and equally violent punishment. Do away with confinment for possession and use. That will free up most space for real criminals..10 years confinement at hard labor for drug sales, theft, burglary etc.No tv,no gym,no rehab.12 hour work days with bologna and bread.I betcha they will fear that.Rape=Immediate amputation of your junk upon conviction..Murder=A bullet to the head.Other violent crime = an appropriate immediate punishment..
