Faced with the Y2K embedded system problem, the factory floor manager
is going to reach for the phone and call someone he/she knows.
Likely IMO to be someone local. Question is, will the local
integrator push for replacement using an A.Bradley as supplier? IMO
Yes, because local guy probably has no Y2K analytical tools and he
can make money thru replacement. Plus, the factory floor mgr would
like nothing more than to have all systems upgraded. But will senior
mgt buy off?

If "NO",
THEN who ya gonna call? IMO, the local guy again. The mgr says
"can't do full upgrade or replacement, I need someone to analyze my
situation". Key here is, IMO, will the local integrator KNOW WHO
TAVA IS? And, that Tava has a Y2K offering? If so, is it in the
interest of Tava to license the local guy on PLANTY2KONE? Yes. Just
like Microsoft's Solution Provider program, Tava should be licensing
the world.

If "YES"
IMO, then the local integrator can probably handle the job = no need
for Tava.

On another slant, it's amazing to me that we haven't seen ANY
competition for Tava in this market on the national level (i.e.
non-local). The IS side of Y2K saturated with vendors. (I'm still
trying to find out what Raytheon's offering is (if they have one)).
If the market is as huge as we know it to be, where is everyone?

Just asking some chicken-running-around-in-circles-with-head-cut-off
questions . . .
