The Hands-On Lab will take place December 9-10 during GigNet 97 in San Jose as part of the High Speed LAN Solutions EXPO, and is open to all attendees. The Cabletron and Packet Engines co-sponsored live network lab will provide exclusive hands-on experience with Gigabit Ethernet and Layer 3 switching products. Products in the Hands-On Lab will include best-of-breed Gigabit Ethernet hubs, network interface cards (NICs), and multiprotocol switches including Gigabit Ethernet and ATM -- all configured for real-world evaluation. During 60 minute sessions, lab participants will run multiple technologies in a single, enclosed environment and conduct side-by-side comparisons of the industry's latest offerings.
