I submit my portfolio HOPING that contestants will pick up any obscure stuff.... makes for good scalps, overweights. And I have no problem with a grace period, never have.

You could just pledge and not submit a portfolio... some of us too afraid to put up a portfolio did just that :-)

Sorry, having everyone start at the same time and with the same prices is not onerous, IMO. Otherwise it's just more affirmative action.
