There is nothing calous at all in that post: We are drowning in very real, extremely serious crisis issues which are not getting resolved, while we are putting enormous energy into arguing over the number of bullets in a gun: Hey.............there is more than enough energy to go around. The reason other serious issues are not getting resolved is because there certain people in this society who don't want them resolved. They gain little from resolving them. >>>The banking system is broken, crooks are in power over the economic system, we are failing in education, we don't believe the health care system is there for us, we are losing our homes, we don't have jobs, we don't have family support, and we are afraid to walk the streets without personal protection. Then banking industry is not broken. Its behaving more responsibly now than it has been for more than a decade. Stop starving the public school system in this country and stop denying that some kids need more special attention than others and the educational system will regain the stature and quality it has lost. Losing their homes.......that happens when cronyism rules and people live beyond their means. More and more jobs are getting created......slowly but surely the economy is starting to recover. You're afraid to walk the streets without protection. I am not. Figure out why that is true. How in these modern circumstances do we begin to build better community at the grass roots level is the first question we should be raising, not how many bullets in a gun should be legal... are you kidding me!? No, I am not kidding you. So deal with it! So tell me how passing a law limiting the number of bullets to 10 from thirty is going to make a significant difference in our national well being under the circumstances and why that is more important than any of the other issues I listed. It is certainly getting a heck of a lot more attention. Calous my @@s You bet your sweet ass you are calous [sic]. I am tired of kids/people dying needlessly in a Newtown school, on the streets of Chicago and in a movie theater in Aurora. There is no reason why we can't reduce the gun violence in this country while tackling other important issues. Some of us are able to do more than one thing at a time.
