It wouldn't require multiple channels for transission--multiple feeds could be multiplexed before transmission into a single feed on a single channel and demultiplexed at the box.

MTV is not out of the mix--they are the major recipient of income from the process. ACTV would receive license fees for the software they provide to support the interactive part.

Pope, MTV could have a digital version of its channel which they would charge the cable provider like most other networks. It would also increase ad revenues.
TCI is charging $3 for digital box in Denver.
