As I said earlier, you need to familiarize yourself with truthful and Christian sources of history--first the Bible and then original and primary Christian sources. A good beginning is The History of the Church or Ecclesiastical History by Eusebius. Christians have the Holy Spirit and the love of truth in their hearts. Those who reject Christ know nothing about truth and honesty in history. They work from a carnal and worldly point of view. When you establish your facts with antichrist histories, you are twisting and polluting your mind with "jewish fables" Titus 14--"not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandmenst of men who turn from the truth." Remember, ever since the crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Talmudic Judaism has been spreading the lie that Jesus was never Resurrected and that he was not the Son of God. How can you trust historical sources from these same antichristians. The Holy Spirit has been poured out by God in every century and every decade of the Christian era. Each period of Christian history is led by the Holy Spirit. God raises Christian men in each century to record the truth of Christian history. He raised St. Venerable Bede in England in the 6th and 7th century to record the early history of the church in England. He raised St. Gregory of Tours to write the history of the establishment of Christianity in France--Gaul in the five hundreds. When you chose to abandon your Christian heritage and history, you have to turn to the antichrist and nonchristian for a distorted understanding of history. A good place to start is: ccel.wheaton.edu This will provide you a free site to read the early Church Fathers as well as the earliest Christian historians such as Eusebius and Socrates Scholasticus: Ecclesiastical History; Sozomenus: Ecclesiastical History. It will provide you with a clear window to peak into the first 8th centuries of Christianity. Remember, Christians of every century have had an equal outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It is simply American charasmatic arrogance and pride to claim that we are the only ones to experience the Holy Spirit since the days of the early Church. This will give you an opportunity to hear from Christians themselves about the history of your Church and secular history. It is only natural for nonchristians to distort history since they have not been Born Again and don't have the Holy Spirit to guide them.
