Hi combjelly; Re: "TC, the military is going to follow any legitimately elected civilian government." The US military already has a history of refusing to support a legitimately elected civilian government. Having it happen in the future wouldn't be such a huge surprise. Hey, it's not going to happen over the next 4 years. But in the fullness of time? Forever is a very long time. Every empire eventually falls and when it does, a very common experience is the civilians being unable to control the military. -- Carl
