"God is not actually in this world (ie, is in the supernatural), so would not be a good starting point for philosophy or for understanding the meaning of words."

So you have given up before you have started because my original statement was already discussing things in the realm of God.

And how do you know that God is not in this world? Do you have God's travel schedule? You will have to prove such a statement, and even before that, address the foundation of knowledge of God.

If in the begining was the word and the word was with God, how can it possibly make sense to say that is a bad starting point for philosophers to address the word? What actually are they smoking?
