steve-- merrill is still trying to handicap us based on what is going on in asia. unfortunatly, the baby gets thrown out with the bath. what amazes me is that what would really hurt us, a slowdown in china, is not occuring. china appears to be the only strong player in the region (even japan seems weak). the thing is, techs arent going to get hit that hard by asia. what is going to get hard are agricultural stocks. the big telecom equip co.s are going to get hit a little, but not as much as some have predicted. good luck to all, trey
