Don't you agree with that much? I think things can be better. I just don't expect them to get that much better. Too much of the solutions being put forth seem to be trying to solve the smallest (but highest profile) parts of the problem. I think the only way we can improve things considerably going forward (without saying the taboo word "poverty") is to significantly reduce that 300 million guns number. And even if the political will were there, would it be doable? -Z
