Look, just go back and read what was actually going on in the Soviet Union at the time. The old guard was thoroughly demoralized post-Afghanistan.

Ok, you tell me. What did Reagan do that enabled the reformers, like Gorbachev, rise to power? Because that was the symptom the end was near. Hint, it wasn't the demand to tear down the Berlin wall. The reformers were already in power by then...

So, want to discuss whether or not Hitler instituted stricter gun control in Nazi Germany?
