I remember years ago riding across the border on horseback no problem, you would not want to do that today. I remember coming back with six horses in my trailer and having papers for only three. The Canadian guy started going through the papers in the trailer and I said how much beer and cigarettes can I bring back? He said you have beer and cigarettes and I said yes, lots. That put him in a trance and he completely forgot about the horses and went to search the vehicle and I believe he found half a pack of smokes and let me go. I would never have seen the undocumented horses again and got into a lot of trouble. Thank God the border people we hire don't like the smell of horse shit.
