Meanwhile, back at the BBC, we have a sequel going. "Yes prime Minister" part deux.

From what I have seen of it, its very good. The original caste were outstanding of course but several of those have gone on to do other things or passed on outside of our earthly existence. The new guys are different but so is the politics.

It launches in straight into the the financial crisis and Europe. Worth watching if it comes your way imho.

These guys aren't really on queue as I see it. They just know how to reflect current public perception.

Its a different show, different politics, and different characters. Lets um have their day for a while and lets appreciate the differences. That is how I see it.

I mean, sure I would love to turn back the clock and not have the financial crisis and live in the wonder days back then. ... but time has moved on and the squid, 2008, debts and exploding markets etc are here for real.
