Well you hit the nail on the head. The Republicans today finally came up with a sensible approach that what they have had in the past. The pressure is now on the Senate Democrats to produce a budget. But the question remains about the sequester which is due to kick in before the extended debt ceiling expires

Anyway, the latest move by the Republicans looks like was driven by Obama's calls to "pay the bills that Congress has racked up" and also insisting the debt has nothing to do with the deficit.

Anyway, the pressure in on now on the Senate Democrats to produce a budget. And who else but Sen. Barney Frank to be leading that effort. Patrick Deval surely has a tough decision to make.
