Those ammo purchases are just enough for denying a group of hillbillies, like me at heart, one or two trips to the range. Time to start loading your own, except all that stuff is sold out too. As soon as it becomes available again, time to make your own... Yep.......NY is not going to get my name in any data base buying ammo. I'll be going out of state to get the shotshell powder I need. I have to decide on a home defense weapon.........but will then get the appropriate rifle reloading equipment as well.........it's straight forward to reload......just need some good reloading data, the right equipment including most importantly an accurate scale.......and some common sense. More should do it. In case anyone thinks I'm out of line.......the NY law passed the State Senate 43-18 (despite apparent Republican control) and 104-43 in the legislature (veto proof Democratic control). I have NO representation on this issue. They could have gone a lot further This is just a second step. Already most semi auto pistols are illegal. I now need to go thru a background check too buy ammo. With the Grand Goombah Cuomo in charge.....I can envision confiscation within the next 4 years. He has already indicated it as an option. In case anyone thinks home defense is not important in a small rural upstate community.........think again. This happened just last year in a small urban upstate community just like mine...... less than 30 MILES AWAY foxnews.com
