I actually think that the dollar is pretty stable at this point.
you might be right. my guess is it's going even lower due to the stupid things the government is doing.

What can they do to further devalue the dollar? lower rates more? I don't think so.
i don't think rates can go down much further, but obamacare and higher tax rates along with agencies like the EPA will probably bring the dollar lower as they strangle the economy.

Nobody wants it (the money) and if they raise rates (which I think they should do), I do believe there will be an immediate negative response in equities.

i think higher rates would reflect the reality of our situation, so yes, i think they are needed. what's needed even more is to get the government's foot off the neck of the economy.
