Why couldn't the posters on SI buy this thing? We are, presumably, investors. Maybe a bad idea to have the inmates running the asylum.
As you may remember, that suggestion came up, many, many times before. Ignored. Perhaps wisely cause yes, imagine the tanker twins having ownership rights. Nightmare!

Hmmm. Let’s see, now:

<“Silicon Investor is a fantastic resource for investors,” said Craig Longhurst, Chairman of Knight Sac Media. “It is the gem of stock discussion sites, whose boards have been home to a number of notable analysts. We see a lot of potential in this institution. We are very selective in the assets Knight Sac Media pursues. In Silicon investor, we see an opportunity to expand an active community and to transform a destination well known in tech investment circles into an exciting new type of publication; one the Internet has never seen before.”

ABOUT KNIGHT SAC MEDIA

Knight Sac Media Holdings Corporation, based in Henderson, NV, invests in and develops new social media publications.>

So far, all I really know about Night Sac is this:

http://www.bizapedia.com/nv/KNIGHT-SAC-MEDIA-HOLDINGS-CORPORATION.html

The company is less than 4 months old – and look at the list of officers.

Well, I also know, from your letter to us (quote above), that you plan a transformation “into an exciting new type of publication; one the Internet has never seen before.”

Let me say that I am skeptical of your plans, since (a) you have yet to provide even the slightest of details and (b) the present SI is actually outstanding, as you note. I suggest you quickly offer more information.

You, sir, have great opportunity to ruin Silicon Investor – and you have offered no substance, yet, to indicate you can or actually will improve it. If you are not aware of this, please contemplate it carefully and wisely: The contributors here can go elsewhere, if they do not like what you plan or accomplish. And, without the contributors, SI will become just a fond memory.

The above said, I hope for a better outcome than I fear.
