May be the new owners have plans to turn this site into FB or Linkedin of Independent Investors..

The space is fragmented, membership limited and there have been noise that some Brokers are tweaking their platform to do just that for their account holders so with a new version of .com bubble in social media space, some one may have decided to see what they can do in this space which is under the radar..

I don't think this site has much cash potential. Or at least, I don't see it. I'm glad I have most of you on my Facebook- just in case :-) (and for the rest of you, if we aren't Facebook friends, and you want to be, PM me)

If this site is the members, then it's a slowly shrinking, steadily aging pool. I'd assume if they can't do anything about the shrinkage, they'll shut it down. Eventually.
