Last couple of "albums" I've purchased were super hi def ones from HDTracks. I think my partner bought a Sting (bleh) album once, like, six years ago.

I seem to recall there being about 400M iTunes accounts. At $2B in quarterly revenue, that averages out to $1.67 per account per month. Assuming i have the numbers approximately right, those are pretty small numbers, and IMO do not lend weight to the notion that it's hard for (typical) people to switch ecosystems.
