If I were to guess, he gets his numbers from the NRA. They used to have a web page with some statistics on rising homicide rates in the wake of gun control. The numbers were wrong. I actually responded further here: Message 28675107 The US has a murder rate that far exceeds AU or any other first world country and even exceeds the murder rate in some third world countries. The US is a gun happy, violent nation where the Mexican drug cartels come to buy their guns. And then we have posters on this thread telling us there is not a problem that more guns won't fix and that gun control is ineffective. Once again, we are pushed towards the smoke and mirrors that Rs favor.
