I think the 47% is just a temporary phenomena to get their votes and their agreement for feudal lords having absolute power. Of course the takers will think that means that will lock in their goodies forever, but they are wrong. Once absolute power is acheived, there is no longer a need to provide anything further to those 47% or whatever the percentage happens to be at the time. Instead everything will go to the feudal lords and there will be no recourse other than sticks and stones.
