Those examples serve to prove my assertions ... including the one that Democrats like you would prefer Americans to be defenceless to criminals. When a citizen defends themselves against a criminal, a Republican wins and a Democrat loses. No wonder you disparage such stories.

82 Year-Old Missouri Man Shoots Violent Intruder – Lives to Talk About It (Video) Posted by Jim Hoft on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 11:23 AM

Every day we hear stories like this. A home owner protects his property from a violent intruder.
An 82 year-old Missouri man shot a violent intruder who broke into his home Friday night.

Unfortunately, our national media does not believe this is a major story.
It doesn’t fit their liberal narrative.

KFVS12 News

KFVS reported:

Police say an 82-year-old Ellsinore man shot a man who reportedly broke into his home Friday night.

It happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. on North Herren Street.

According to Carter County Sheriff Richard Stephens, Charles L. White, 30, of Ellsinore, broke into the residence and assaulted the 82-year-old. White reported fled after being shot.

After the sheriff’s office obtained a search warrant, White was found at a home in Ellsinore.

The 82-year-old homeowner was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital and then by air ambulance to a St. Louis hospital with head injuries.

Sub Shop Employee in PA Pulls Gun on Armed Robbers, Sends Him Running From Store
February 19 2013

When an armed robber entered a small sub sandwich shop in PA and demanded money, the employee working there had other ideas.

Instead of pulling out cash for the would be robber, the employee pulled a gun.

Upon realizing that his would be victim was armed the suspect fled the store and is still being sought by police.

This is another example of a defensive gun use in which no shots were fired and no one was hurt. Because of those facts this incident will likely not be included in most studies and statistics on self defense.

Another example of a Democrat (aka the Criminal party) losing and a Republican winning.
