Arun, I invariably refer to Jihadists rather than Moslems because the word jihad identifies the ideology I have an issue with which is barbaric conquest of infidels, apostates, Jews, blasphemers, homosexuals, women, individualists, and anyone who gets in their way which is anywhere in the world. The fact that people are not clones does not mean they cannot have particular ideologies at any particular time. I guess you do understand that and are really just making argument for the sake of it. For the most part, Moslems don't go around attacking other people. But there is about 20% of British Moslems who think it's a jolly good idea to do so and enough who are actually willing to do so that it's a major problem requiring close policing. The pleasant idyll of lovely England of a century ago when Bobbies on bikes could be a gentle constabulary are long gone. The IRA [Catholics] conducted jihad when I lived there which was annoying [murderous attacks on tourists and anyone else they happened to blow up]. Now it's the Moslems. In the early 1970s one could walk up to the door of Number 10 Downing Street which had a pleasant Bobby standing by to ensure people didn't get too enthusiastic and knock on the door which would be annoying to the tenants. If you have a look at some video of a Nuremberg rally, you can see the precision cloned goose-stepping and calls of Sieg Heil in synchronized adulation of Adolf and Nazi ideology. Around the world, governments try [to a greater or lesser extent] to get people to act like that and maybe even believe it. Yes, the Europeans thought that the immigrants would assimilate and become like them. Americans did too. Enoch Powell realized decades ago that Islamic Jihadists and Moslem ideology is not about adopting rules of Rome when moving to Rome. When in Rome, do as the Mullah says, not as the Romans do. Mqurice
