OK John, I did a survey of the different threads, read arguments from people, the one that interested me the most is the debate between Craig Crawford and Martin Milani on the 3Com thread. I think Martin got a point, 3COM is not dead and really strong. In the mean time, it's this stupid market that will take COMS down. I will wait til after Dec 22nd after the dust settles to buy. All these surplus inventory problems with 3COM are just temporary. Come January, everything will be wonderful again, upgrades will fly left and right, the network stocks will go up again, well til the next earnings. Then sell way before the next earnings of other network companies, 'cause it will be a few more quarters til all these network companies will get back on their feet again. Little companies like MRV will be at the mercy of the giants, trade MRVC according to the trading pattern of the giants. If the giants get a cold, little MRVC will get it too.
