Sorry,

Naked shorting is illegal, as it is beyond the float. I still haven't been able to find it, but I am almost positive it is illegal to short a penny stock, can someone help me? Actually both would be, except unless you hold your shares you broker does whatever they want with them, that is why it is so important to hold you shares in cert form, they can't be shorted if you got em'.

P.S. Canada can do whatever the hell they want. Also, people who don't understand the concept, it would be like you selling something that doesn't exsist, sometimes they are referred to as phantom shares, as they exceed the float avail. If we convert the float to cert, they have nothing to short and infact have to cover whatever is out there, supply and demand.
