What has been lost to many of we amature historians over the years is just how unethical we felt it was in the old days for people to work for, or even support, Nixon, or GW or Raygun. So when I see guys now respected like David Gergen (the highly respected political guru), o rcolin Powell, and remember they willingly worked for all those criminals, something the rest of us would never have even considered doing at the time, I just shake my head. How soon we forget. <<It should be SHAMEFUL to be a Republican, or even to have been a Republican.
