No one here would do that. I would bet that everyone here is very nice in person. When I met people early in SI history, we were even less discriminate about who we met- and there were not fights. Though I guess we did talk behind the backs of couple of the weirdest people who showed up- but there aren't even any of THOSE people here. So no one need worry, I think. And somehow, when you bring your significant other, the urge to hurl epithets and get all rude usually subsides. Or so I have observed.
