Over 40 with investable funds isn't a desirable demo? I guess it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. And based on what Mr. Longhurst said of his bio, that would seem to be his wheelhouse. The demographic may have money, but are we going to spend it on an online forum/community? I think it has already been proven that we won't continue paying for memberships and if they put ads on SI there is always a huge uproar. I'm not saying that our response is the wrong one, just that the demographic is challenging if you are trying to monetize a website.
