I doubt that the new SI owners are scheming to get money from us, the old guard. They want to build a shiny new toy that a presumably younger generation will flock to and jazz up.

I am still not convinced this is a mass business unless you pander to the Yahoo and/or Motley Fool level.

That's a thought. Introduce a variety of level of services and charge varying fees. I think they had that at one time. My own guess is that they'll try to keep the present population, at least for a while, for traffic counts. Try to increase their traffic counts with other demographics and then ease in a service level fee. At least that's one route they might go.
