CJ has claimed to have been, himself, diagnosed with Aspergers. And it certainly isn't unusual for those who have Aspergers to also have other emotional issues.

Aspergers is an Autism Spectrum Disorder, and as such, a diagnosis of Aspergers does not convey that much information since the range is huge -- from very high functioning (Einstein) to those who have to be restrained to prevent doing themselves bodily harm.

However, one of the characteristics of Aspergers is difficulty with social interaction which obviously could lead to emotional issues. So, it isn't surprising if someone with that Dx goes off the deep end from time to time.
