OT - You are 100% right. Ridley was running full tilt, no one had held him up yet and he chose to put his helmet down going into Pollard. Something he won't do again. It's the complete opposite from a defenseless receiver or QB.

ot having seen that replay, which is not what i thought saw originally, i admit that its not as bad as i first thought. however i still think that the running back was in the air and did not lower his head intentionallly into pollard . looks more like pollard was more equivalent to taking a charge or guilt of a blocking foul. however no matter what he did he still would have not been penalize for a helmet to helmet against a running back while the play was still live under current nfl rules. I still think the rules for helmet to helmet are far too lenient and its only a matter of time before someone else ends up a paraplegic from one of these hits. and the nfl and the nfl players association should be held accountable.
