My first system was the first Commodore - a screaming 1.0Mhz PET
with 8K of memory and a chicklet keyboard, and of course an audio
tape. While my storage requirements now are ok at 1.25 Gig, I expect
to get a digital camera soon, and I know that it will fill quickly.
That's why I think by '98, I'll be needing more Zip disks. It's that
Moore's law thing again.

My first system was one of the first IBM PC's - a screaming 4.7Mhz
IBM with 16K of memory that I populated to 64K, and of course a 360K
disk. While my storage requirements now are ok at 5 Gig, I expect to
get a digital camera soon, and I know that it will fill quickly.
That's why I think by '99, I'll be needing 10 - 20 Gigs. It's that
Moore's law thing again.
