David Beckett I agree that charts can often track the short term trends but I have found that after 6 months, these trends more closely track fundamentals such as trailing and forward pe's, earnings growth, and overall market breadth and depth of a company's products and services. Creaf meets my goals of a long term (more than 6 months) investment. I long ago swore off day trading. The bigger boys with the bigger toys who do this for a living will always have the edge in short trading.
