In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. I agree with the above paragraph you posted. MLK talking about cashing a check wasn't talking retribution. Hell, after 50 years of the great society, democrats have created a system hindering blacks from becoming successful. Look at your party's treatment of successful black conservatives who have proven blacks don't need to vote for a democrat to get ahead. MLK even acknowledged whites who were marching with him. MLK wasn't demanding I write him a check, he was demanding equality. The man's entire life was against the assholery you espouse.
