Still keeping my small positions in AITPF and ASBRF. Not sure when/if I am going to sell. :)

I have been taking profits recently: sold 1/2 of ETP @47.88$ , trimmed TOT at 52.9$, sold stubs in HES at 58.7$ and BK @26.7$.

Sold the EUR.USD pair (a few % of my portfolio) to hedge the currency risk in my Euro nominated long positions. I believe Monti will push down the EUR again, it has gained more than 10% against the USD and 20% against the Yen, which is not good for European exports.

With few really compelling values to be had, I am raising the cash level towards my 30%+ target again to get ready for the summer doldrums <g>.

FANUY: Not sure what I'll do about my small AAPL position that's down 12% today. Going back today to look at Fanuc -- a big supplier to Apple -- I decided I like the company for it's predominance in robotics, it's being a Japanese company that exports, and the stock's relatively low price. I can't make a claim that it's a value stock now though. I'm willing to establish a small position nonetheless. Company seems to have a good amount of cash (no ltd according to Yahoo), and I've read (can't find source) that it's a Japanese company that actually may have some concern for its stock price -- the head guy has instituted several stock buybacks.

AITPF - now you can rebuy... :) If you figure out what the news were that dropped it to 1300 ~10% when Nikkei went up 2%. War with China? :) I can't find anything anywhere: that's the problem with investing in Japanese stocks I guess. :)

Disclosure: Small semi-permanent position
