This really is a poor solution to a very important problem. This will
fool no one with any technical expertise ... maybe Petz would like to comment
on this !!?? As you have mentioned StockMan, the reliability of these
high voltage chips will be degraded and the lifetimes are exponentially
affected by increased electric fields across the gate oxide and source/drain.
I wonder if this is how they will address future process problems in their
new .25um process !!??
