When I heard them use "perfectly legal hit", I knew they knew it was bogus....no balls to call it out...., don't upset the NFL NBC relationship. Had Ridley's head been 2 feet lower, then I would say it was still brutal but fine. The hit on Welker was more blatant - I would be amazed if it wasn't a fine....looked like the Jack Tatum hit on Darryl Stingly. Two very strategic takeouts on the Ravens part.
