Why not set the expectations too low for next quarter? If Apple guides anywhere close to the $45 billion consensus for next quarter, that's just another positive surprise. During the quiet period leading up to earnings, it behoove almost everyone to make the most radical revisions they can imagine. I would love to see Apple open up more market share this year. They are only $50 away from a sub $400 iPhone right now with the iPhone 4. I think they should dump the iPhone 4 this summer, and rebuild it with a plastic case to make it more durable and affordable. Plus, they could start offering a plastic iPhone in many different colors and people wouldn't have to buy a case.
