Doug, I have a friend who is a nightclub promoter in NYC. Most of the top clubs feast on the well-heeled young Wall-streeter with cash to burn. And you know how they get these guys in the door? "Hot-sexy-b!tches" as they call them, mostly from the modeling agencies. SI was never woman-oriented, but it for sure either created or attracted a wide range of gurus (the H-S-Bs of their time) who, whether they truly could or not, proclaimed they knew the secret to making money in some phase of the stock market. SI wasn't just a watering hole, it was where the hunter and hunted alike lived side by side in the jungle pretending to trust each other. If only the return of the SI ecosystem of its heydey were as simple as seeding it with leggy supermodels. Or maybe it is. :) - Jeff
