Hmm. I was just going to agree with some of the other posters that iOS should possibly be upgraded more often.

I think her issue is that Windows 8 is a radical change, and not one that is more beneficial.

I think OSX users and iOS users would be more inclined to upgrade if they knew:

1) legacy apps were not going to be affected.
2) any interface improvements were REALLY improvements
3) better stability

Those are my worries every time I upgrade, and why I avoid it. Its the old "boy who cried wolf story"...
